Is the Toolbox a classic in the making?

if you don’t want to wait for a Birkin or Kelly, or just want a different bag for different occasions then do consider the Hermès Toolbox.  Some people are certain that’s it’s a classic in the making – here at Lilac Blue we’re not so sure, but it is still a fabulous bag, lovely to look at and eminently practical too.

First introduced for the Fall/Winter 2010 collection hemres bags  it is available in three sizes, 20cm W x 21cm H x 15cm D; 26cm W x 25cm H x 18cm D; 33cm W x 37cm H x 23cm D, three different leathers (Swift, Evercolour and Nilocitus Crocodile), and a good selection of colours, including Orange, Rubis, Gold, Feu, Etoupe and various blues.  The bag is designed to give you several different looks – it can be carried by hand or with the shoulder strap, it has “wings” which can be tucked away to give a more streamlined appearance, or you can carry it with the “wings” folded out to increase both capacity and completely change the shape.   Functional and beautiful – a perfect combination. toolbox hermes handbag

The Toolbox features the turn lock closure/clasp seen on the iconic Kelly and has three large internal pockets giving you plenty of space for all your essentials.   If you’re quick the 26cm Toolbox is still available in Feu Evercolour calf skin on the Hermès website, I don’t imagine they’ll be there for long though so don’t take too long to decide if you want it!
